(PRWEB UK) 2 February 2012
Both the Pavillions and Blanchardstown shopping centres are now home to retailing units dedicated to selling and marketing the Nicocig electronic cigarettes.
Sales representative Stephanie has this to say about the development: The response has been fantastic. There has been a real demand for e-cigarettes in this area.
ROI customers also see an additional benefit over the UK as cigarette prices have soared to around 9.50 in some places making the cheapest form of electronic cigarette, the disposable, a cheaper alternative from the outset.
Birju Pujara, the Sales Director for Nicocigs, adds, Following the success we have seen in these two shopping centres, we will be looking to expand this operation to other shopping centres around the country.
The electronic cigarette industry has seen a massive boom over the last 9 months, with some of the biggest brands reporting growth of almost 300% over this period. Birju added, We believe a lot of the success we are seeing is down to making electric cigarettes more widely available for our customers, it must be just as convenient as buying cigarettes and opening retail units in busy areas as we have done in and around Dublin in a step in the right direction.
As well as electronic cigarette specific retail outlets, there has been a rise in e-cigarette accessories becoming widely available from a range of various retailers such as pharmacies, convenience stores and petrol stations.
Nicocig, established in 2007 is one of the largest electronic cigarettes brands available today with thousands of stocking retailers; this company has grown from a start-up in to a multi-million pound company with international distribution networks.
